| 2010 Conference Season Launch Finding the Next Hot Topic |

While the rest of the world oohs and ahhhs over the Apple iPad announcement, I
am furiously putting together notes in preparation for BrainShare 2010.
Yep! BrainShare is back and I'm thrilled! It's one of (wait... it IS my favorite
conference to go to every year). We usually release the Laura's Lab Kit at
BrainShare every year - we skipped last year's Lab Kit when we learned
BrainShare wouldn't happen).
Some of the topics that I'm working on for BrainShare 2010 include:
So what special things are in the plans for this year? Well - it will be the first
public release of the new Wireshark book - a project 20 years in the making! I'll
be signing the books hot off the press and doing some hands-on labs on the key
concepts using Wireshark's latest version - which may not even be out by then,
but I'll show 'em anyway.
I'll be doing something special during the Meet the Experts - something a little
different. It will likely include one... or two... or... glasses of red wine. <g>
If you haven't started making your 2010 conference plans, this is probably the
best chance you have to get solid hands-on sessions with me outside of the
Summit 2010 conference (still to be announced).
2010 Conference Commitments
- BrainShare - March 21-25 (register)
- TechEd US (Waiting for acceptance) - June 7-10 (register)
- Sharkfest - June 14-17 (register)
- HTCIA International - Sept 20-22 (information)
BrainShare is scheduled for March 21-25 in Salt Lake City. Early registration
ends on February 19th so make your plans today, get your laptop ready and join
me for some down and dirty analysis sesions!
