Course Description
You joined us for the Wireshark 101 Jumpstart (or you purchased the $29
recorded access). You know about tapping in and basic functions of
Wireshark - now you're ready to become a filtering guru. Capture filters
reduce the traffic you need to wade through to locate a problem. Display
filters really focus in on traffic based on addresses, ports, protocols, flags,
timestamp values and a myriad of other factors.

In this online seminar Laura takes you through WHAT to filter for and HOW to
apply filters. You will also learn how to make a cleaner, more efficient filter
file set.

Attendees will learn the Top Filters You Must Have with an emphasis on not
only troubleshooting, but also security.  This is a seminar you don't want to
miss!

Who Should Take This Course
IT professionals who haven't had the time to really play with Wireshark to
learn its filtering capabilities.

You Will Learn
  • Using the Default Capture and Display Filters
  • Creating a Few Hot Capture Filters
